I like this idea of the narrative from the accidental 'window' of the open/unbuilt space. Do the pictures really correspond to the space that you are observing though? I would also expect more telescopic images rather than these wide-angled ones. Where are the people that you are observing? We only see buildings here. Maybe a mapping of your gaze as it wonders through these open space, marking a constellation of events would be another way of corresponding your text with images. If the distance is big (we don't know that now, in the way you present the information) then I can imagine that the observation is accompanied by a general vague sound. But if the distances are small, then I would expect some live voices, besides yours. In other words, instead of appropriating all action through your own narrative, I would expect to hear the voices of the other people too, punctuating your own experience. Also, what if you would write a story mixing text with small thumbnail size images, and differentiating your thoughts/associations from the voices of the others (people and city)? Like a musical notation mixed with iconic references.

Great idea after all. Keep working on it.
